What is StagePlay?
StagePlay is a groundbreaking virtual platform and production process that extends the reach of live entertainment beyond physical venues, bringing performances to audiences worldwide. StagePlay’s performance capture process allows producers, performers, and creators to efficiently and affordably capture their performances in stereoscopic 3D and distribute them live or on-demand.
What is virtual viewing?
StagePlay utilizes the latest innovations in mixed reality to believably recreate the in-venue experience, including leveraging ultra-high-resolution stereoscopic 3D video and immersive spatial audio. With StagePlay, at-home viewers aren’t watching a movie of the show, they are watching the show just as they would from a seat in the theater.
How can I watch a show on StagePlay?
Currently in private beta for industry only, the StagePlay app for mixed-reality headsets will launch for consumer use later this year.
